Questions.
Including the ones with answers we would rather not give. If yours is not here, ask us.
What does Kelvix actually check?
37 things that decide whether a search engine or an AI assistant can read your pages and understand what your business is: whether anything is blocking them, whether each page says what it is, whether your structured data is valid, whether your links and images are sound, and whether your sitemap matches reality.
Every check is listed by name on the how it works page, grouped, with a label saying whether it is somebody's published requirement or our own judgment.
Will this get me into ChatGPT or Google’s AI answers?
Nobody can promise that, and be wary of anyone who does. What goes into an answer is decided inside those companies, and it changes constantly.
What Kelvix does is narrower and actually achievable: it finds the things making you ineligible. A rule blocking the crawler. A page that says nothing about what you do. Markup that will not parse. Clear those and you can be picked. Leave them and you cannot be.
That is the honest shape of it, and it is worth more than a promise nobody is in a position to keep.
Do I need a Google account, or Search Console?
No. The check, the report, the fixes and weekly re-checks all work without one. Connecting the Google account that manages your website is optional, and it adds exactly one thing: confirmation of whether Google has actually put a page in search results. That is the one question no tool can answer from outside your site, and it is part of the subscription.
Will you change anything on my website?
Never. Kelvix only reads. It does not submit forms, sign in, install anything, or touch your hosting. Every fix we give you is something you or whoever built your site applies. That is also why we show you the exact change rather than doing it quietly.
Why do I have to make an account to see my report?
Because a report is an audit of a real website, it stays readable at its link for a long time, and an email address is the only thing that lets us tie one back to the person who asked for it.
It is an email address and a six-digit code. No password to invent, no card. And everything the account unlocks is genuinely free: every finding, every affected page, all the evidence.
What is free and what is paid?
Free: running a check, and reading everything it found. What is wrong, how many pages it touches, the evidence, and what we could not see.
Paid: why each finding matters for your business, the exact change to make and where it goes, and a weekly re-check by email. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Why is the check free?
Most of what a retainer buys is a checklist. Search work for a local business is usually sold as a fixed amount every month, and the person paying it is rarely shown what it bought. A large part of it is checking: the same list, re-run, because websites drift.
There is no craft in that half. A machine does it more often and shows its working, so we give it away, and you can see what is left to hire somebody for. Why we built it this way.
Does it work with Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, GoDaddy?
Yes. Kelvix reads the pages your website actually serves, so what built them makes no difference. The fixes are described as the change to make: a title, a line of markup, a setting. Where to put it is then a matter of finding that field in whichever builder you use.
Why only 20 pages?
Because nearly everything worth reporting on a local business site is a template problem: it is on every page, and twenty pages is more than enough to prove that. Reading two hundred would take longer, cost more, and mostly tell you the same thing nineteen more times.
Do you check my Google Business Profile or my reviews?
No. Kelvix reads your website. It does not read, rate or change your Business Profile, your reviews or your map listing. Those matter for a local business, and we would rather say plainly that we do not cover them than imply we do.
Do I need an llms.txt file?
No search engine or AI company documents reading one, so we do not check for it and we will never report its absence as a problem. If that changes and one of them publishes a requirement, it becomes a check with the link attached, like everything else.
How do I cancel?
A button on your account page, not an email to us. The weekly re-checks stop and the fixes lock again; findings you have already read stay readable.
What do you do with my data?
We keep your email address, the sites you have checked, and a copy of the HTML we read so a report can be rebuilt without visiting your site again. We do not sell it and we do not use it to advertise to you.
The full detail, including how to have it deleted, is in the privacy policy.
Can I stop Kelvix from reading my site?
Yes, with two lines in your robots.txt. The crawler page gives you both. Our crawler identifies itself in every request and obeys what it is told. Blocking it changes nothing about how Google or any assistant sees your site.
I don’t know what my website is built with, or who looks after it. Is that a problem?
Not at all, and it is common when a company built the site years ago. Kelvix checks your site from the outside either way, so nothing about the check needs you to know.
When you come to make the fixes, it helps to find out. Our guide, Know your website, walks through safe ways to check what builds your site, who looks after it and whether you can log in, and ends with a message you can send to your web person.
Easier to just run it.
One address, about a minute, no card. Then the questions get specific.
